Reds scored 5 in the second. Dunn and Encarnacion walked. Votto singled in Dunn. Bako walked. Jolbert Cabrera doubled in two. Freel singled in two more.

Reds got two more in the fourth off Jeremy Sowers (who the Reds drafted in the first round out of high school) thanks to hits from Bako, Hopper, Janish and Drew Anderson.

Fogg gave up a homer to the first batter he faced (Franklin Gutierrez) but only gave up one other hit in his 3 innings.
